"WHEELER DEALERS"

The "Wheeler Dealers" game is an involving, light-hearted, strategic team challenge involving fun money and voluntary participation in a number of colourful, fun and unusual team games and activities. It is an ideal event for large numbers.

IT IS GREAT FUN TO TAKE PART IN!

Designed to test informal teamwork and team resourcefulness in a fun and non judgemental way, it is highly interactive; encouraging inter team and inter delegate communication, and information exchange, throughout the event in a fun and absorbing manner. The Game is designed to ensure valid and enjoyable participation by as many people as possible as there will, literally, be something for everyone.

"Wheeler Dealers" involves the teams investing and gambling in the outcome of a large number of varied and visually impressive activities, using a start up budget of fun money. The objective is for the teams to show as much growth as possible in their portfolio by the end of the event.

The teams will not be regulated and there will be no formal programme for visiting most activities. It will be up to the teams to maximise their time involvement, find their own direction and manage their resources effectively. The event is all about the enjoyment of playing and working together in the same environment, and towards achieving the same goals.

At all times the teams must balance risk with return.

FORMAT

The delegates will be formed into predetermined teams. Each team will be given a wallet containing an Instruction Sheet, Programme and an equal amount of Fun Money – "The Budget".
They will be faced with between 10 or 20 Activity Centres. Their task is to move around these activities and attempt to win as much money as possible in the time allowed, by either investing or gambling their budget.

As well as the opportunity to bet on all the activities, it will be essential for the teams and players to try and take part in all of the activities on a random basis; with teams investing in their ability to exceed set activity targets, or to bet against the opposing team in that activity session.

To Invest; the teams must Have a Go at the activity and exceed set activity targets, or beat the opposition. To Gamble; the teams must bet As Spectators on the winner of the activity session.

In the event of teams becoming bankrupt, there will be a "Central Bank" from which loans can be obtained. The loans will attract interest and account charges and these, and the capital loan sum, will be deducted at the end of play from the total value of the teams" portfolios. The "Central Bank" is also available for the investment of surplus funds. Teams will be given investment certificates in return for deposits made, at very attractive rates of interest.

The variety of activities will allow for fast moving, easily mastered participation games plus enjoyable spectator/gambler opportunities and virtually guarantees that all the delegates will have a valid role to play within their team strategy.
