Informal, varied and non judgemental teambuilding games, seriously good fun, and suitable for application both indoors and out, and not necessarily requiring a great deal of space.

This is a cleverly designed collection of apparently slightly zany games; but carefully planned to be team orientated, great fun and highly interactive with wide appeal to the majority of delegates - regardless of age, sex, status or level of fitness. These games will take two teams at a time for head to head light hearted inter team competition; or can be adapted for single team use if required. The wide range and varied characteristics enable clients to select the correct mix of games to ensure a well balanced event.

All the games require an informal degree of teamwork to ensure a good result and, with a positive role for every team member inbuilt, this guarantees maximising delegate interest and involvement throughout the event.

With the emphasis on being fun, informal and non judgemental teamwork, these activities will positively encourage the delegates to participate and to socialise at all levels.

Enormous fun, fast moving and 'friendly' competitive, be prepared for the odd lapse into rule bending and plenty of laughter and noise!! Much more fun in the participation than may appear in description!

GIDDY GAMES
A superb collection of team games designed to be fun and bring out the best from the teams and to make absolutely certain everyone is involved; such as: Build a Giraffe, Balloon Volleyball, Spoof, Sombrero Transfero, The Travel Game, etc.

Brilliant fun, very noisy and competitive.

TARGET GOLF
A superbly presented and tactical adaptation of 'Crazy' and 'Target' Golf designed to involve teams in head to head competition throughout. High value, long range targets or low value, short range targets - coupled with differently weighted balls, clubs and colour sequences combined to ensure that team input results in better scores, as they race against the clock in the frenzied scoring final session.

Tactical, fast and fun for everyone.

BASKETBALL QUIZ
Team v. team in this intellectual (!) version of basketball. The balls must be moved in the correct sequence, to the correct players down the pitch - with scores only allowed after successful shooting into the nets when followed by the correct answering of a topical quiz question. Team tactics, gamesmanship and a sense of fun are essential elements for this game.

Excellent, fast moving fun.

BOULES
A tactical team game of aerial bowls – a typical interpretation and adaptation of an excellent English game by the French! Very much a team effort as the team members try to land their balls nearest the Jack, and highly competitive too as they try and knock the opposition boules off target!

Skill, luck and a little cheating are essential ingredients for success.

CRAZY CROQUET
The quintessential English game of Croquet is totally transformed with a subtle combination of rule changes and inter team competition. Fun, fast, tactical and thoroughly absorbing and instructed with great amusement to the highest standards by the mens and ladies ex England team Croquet captains.

This is a superb tactical and very competitive team game.

TARGET ARCHERY
One to one instruction for everyone, followed by practice and then inter team, 'Rapid Arrows' shoot out against the clock. This is one activity when there is nearly as much rivalry between the instructors to achieve the best team's score!!

Professionally instructed and highly competitive.

CROSSBOW SHOOTING
As with the Archery; one to one instruction with the sole objective of converting you into budding William Tell's. A team shoot out against the clock and various active targets such as water filled balloons.

Properly instructed, safe, team fun.

SKI SLALOM QUIZ
A crazy relay game on two-man skis with all teams attempting to cross the finish line first. However, it is not necessarily the most co-ordinated team that will win; because each move down the tortuous slalom course can only be made following the correct answering of a joke, quiz question or completing a well known catch phrase.

Noisy, fun and prone to gamemanship!

HUMAN TABLE FOOTBALL
A giant inflatable football stadium, a goal net at either end, the players attached to sliding poles which allow only sideways movement - combine this restriction with a 3, 2, 1 formation for both teams (3 forwards, 2 backs,1 goalie) and you can imagine the chaos arising from any unco-ordinated moves by the players'especially from the backs and the forwards!!

Hotly contested, team v. team, five a side football action with the constraints of limited movement make this an exciting and fast moving game of skill and teamwork, and just a little good fortune would help too!

Fast moving, team v. team, competitive football.

GLADIATOR COMBAT
Two Gladiators from opposing teams, each upon a Raised Plinth above an inflatable Air Bed, are armed with Giant Padded Pugil Poles, ready for a battle royal. Each pair jousts for three rounds, as they attempt to knock each other off their plinths in a subtle (or not, as the case often is!) demonstration of powerful aggression v balance. Will they knock their opponent off the Plinth, or themselves'! A safe, fast, furious and highly competitive game, as much fun for the spectators as for the players'be prepared for serious inter team rivalry.

This is a head to head confrontational game. Unless there are pleas to the contrary, an attempt will be made to match the physical characteristics of the Gladiators to their opponents!

LASER TARGET SHOOTING
The latest technology has allowed us to provide this event, using specially adapted guns and electronic targets. There are a number of variations available, the most popular being when targets become 'live' on a random basis and have to be hit before the next target lights up.

Fully instructed, of course, this activity lends itself to indoor use, also.

HUMAN SHEPHERDING
Three pens and three flocks of sheep - all team members who are blindfolded! - and one nominated 'Shepherd' per team who is not, and who, with a combination of authoritative and succinct commands, has to negotiate his flock into their pen quicker than the other teams. Oh, by the way; 'the sheep', regardless of which team they are in, are randomly dotted around the parkland, just to make the task a little more interesting.

TOWN TO TOWN TRAVEL GAME
An ingenious game requiring the team contestants to find apparently random clues dotted around the activity site, place them in order and solve the mileage and final destination town.

A busy and fun team challenge, very competitive!

BOWLING SKITTLES
This is a complete indoor skittles set up, with indoor balls, full skittle-pin layout and bowling lane mat.

Competitions are based on the accumulated number of pins skittled, with bonus points awarded for a 'strike'.

In Addition we are also able to offer, by special arrangements with certain larger venues :-

SUMO SUIT WRESTLING
SIMULATED SURFING
BUCKING BRONCO RIDES
GLADIATORS

(Please enquire for further details on the above)

TREASURE HUNTS

Just a couple of examples of locally based Treasure Hunts we have devised; but, as you will note, they are rather different from most people's idea of what a Treasure Hunt should be and involve some very unusual features to keep the participants on their toes and interested throughout the event.

We can also design equally unique Treasure Hunts of a similar nature at any location, to suit yourselves. All you need do is let us know where!

VINTAGE CAR TREASURE HUNT

A superb, fun and stylish event with the relaxed pace and ambience of a byegone era; starting with breakfast at one venue, luncheon at another, and concluding with an excellent dinner at the original venue.

In addition to the experience of being chauffeur driven in beautifully prepared Vintage Cars, the teams will be required to take part in a Treasure Hunt as they serenely motor through the stunning Yorkshire Dales.

We provide four 'Concours' vintage cars and four professional uniformed chauffeurs, with each team being allocated their own car; there usually being three or four to a vehicle.

Each team is given a cleverly designed Treasure Hunt form which requires completing during their journey with various clues to solve and items to collect which are relevant to the route and the various places of interest which they will visit during the day.

Starting at, say, Rudding Park or Wood Hall Hotel; the outbound route would be through scenic middle Wharfedale via Harewood, Otley, Burley in Wharfedale and then to Ilkley for refreshments and a stroll, then on to the Devonshire Arms at Bolton Abbey for luncheon and a relaxing walk by the river Wharf.

Homebound; the route would take in Burnsall, the spectacular Blubberhouses and Upper Nidderdale moors route via Appletreewick before dropping down to Pateley Bridge for afternoon tea and a break; then returning to the Hotel touring through beautiful Nidderdale and the spa town of Harrogate and nearby historic town of Knaresborough.

TREASURE HUNT IN YORK

Based in the beautiful and historic city of York, we have devised a Treasure Hunt to take in some of the most well known features and places of interest contained within it's famous Roman walls.

Without doubt, York is a most attractive and naturally endowed city in which to have an absorbing and interesting Treasure Hunt and visiting York itself is an interesting experience in its own right; but we have added a few unusual elements to ensure that the event is one to remember, as follows:

The Treasure Chest: The objective of the day is to find answers to all the clues. All the answers are numbers and will require the calculation of a simple formula to find the combination to open the Chest.

The Chest contains the prizes and is the centrepiece of the Final Ceremony.

The Photo Album: Each team will be given an album, an instant Polaroid camera and a film. In all, 8 photographs need to be taken as specified in the clue pack. These not only serve as a memento for the teams, but require a little additional artistic input in their creation for judging the albums later, such as:

Highest Number of Team Members in each Shot
Humour Content
Witty Captions
Artistic Impressions

The albums are adjudged according to the above criteria and form an amusing and important part of the Final Ceremony proceedings.

The Land Search: All within the historic core; Museum, Gardens and the Minster, this takes the teams around some of the finest historic attractions on foot and includes all relevant entrance tickets required, with some of the clues easier to find than others. Importantly, the clues can only be answered by visiting the sites, as locals' knowledge and the guide books will not necessarily provide the answers!

The 'Sea' Search: After lunch, all the teams embark in their own private hire self-drive motor boats on the River Ouse, searching for answers that can only be found from the water. This adds a whole new dimension to the Hunt and if the delegates thought that York was pretty on foot, wait until they have seen it from the river. It is stunning!

Inclusive is individual boat hire, safety equipment, full instruction and supervision.

The Final Ceremony: With all teams safely back at the venue, they are confronted with the locked Treasure Chest. The quality of their photograph albums will now determine the order in which teams will be called upon to open the Chest, one at a time, to try and correctly dial their solution into the Chest's combination lock, with the aid of a final cryptic clue.

This is not as straightforward as it seems and, more often than not, all teams have to take part in a tie-breaker to determine the correct code and to eventually find the winning teams.

Suspense to the last!!
