BATTLE TANKS - Technology With Attitude

Two or four highly detailed remote controlled tanks battle for supremacy in a themed portable arena. Each tank is equipped with a sophisticated laser combat system. A team of up to three people; Driver, Gunner and Tank Commander controls each tank. Manoeuvring around obstacles, over walls and bridges, each team seeks to disable the other teams' tanks.

The tanks are large! 48" long, 17" wide, 16" tall and weighing in at 60 lbs. The tanks rumble around a portable arena comprising a destroyed town with damaged walls, bridges, buildings and piles of rubble, which provide hiding places as well as obstacles that need to be negotiated by the driver. There are numerous game formats that can be played. Using a sophisticated computer based infrared laser combat system, each tank has a digital identity and fires a coded beam, which enables us to know who shot whom in each battle. Sound effects are used for the main gun firing, and a visual signal and explosion indicates that a hit has been achieved. When a tank has taken a pre set number of hits it is disabled by shutting down its motors and combat system. At the end of each session we interrogate each tank's memory and download the scores, from which we can then produce a score sheet for each player and an overall score sheet for the whole day.

This can also be played outdoors, and as the tanks are fully waterproofed they can operate in any conditions.
