Our Comedy Murder Mystery productions are as individual as your company and completely different from the usual 'off the shelf' productions available. They are bespoke, tailored to meet your specific requirements, and are very much geared toward providing comic entertainment and audience interaction - whilst still requiring a 'whodunit' solution by the winning team.
The script and production will be personalised by Charles Palmer to incorporate salient features about the company and the delegates, which then humorously 'sends up' important company topics, products and policies, notable personalities and company characters, company gossip, buzz words, in-jokes etc. This is done following an appointment with one or two key company staff to obtain the relevant inside information in the weeks prior to the event. We can even update on the night itself to incorporate up-to-the-minute issues if required.
Full involvement of the audience is encouraged in a subtle and unintimidating fashion by the cast and is greatly facilitated by the obvious humour of the production. The instant humour immediately relaxes the guests and makes them feel at ease, and the carefully managed input of the personalised script enhances their feeling of identity with the entertainment, and their anticipation, as the plot is enacted. The production is enacted amongst your guests on a mix and mingle basis throughout the evening and is designed to complement your preferred programme. Typically, the plot is enacted during the pre-dinner reception, between courses during the meal and with the final act and denouement taking place immediately after dinner.
A word about Charles Palmer. Charles is an EMMY Award and BAFTA nominated comedy scriptwriter, who co-wrote and acted in the 'Cluedo' TV series. He has also co-written scripts for 'Murder Most Horrid', 'The Fast Show' etc. and has made several guest appearances on various TV comedy shows.
